The single face motor comes with 2 wire running winding and two-wire starting winding. Two wires will come out of the clutch plate and if the motor is more than two hp, then it will have two wires of a running capacitor and two wires of starting capacitor. In Single Phase connection with the clutch, plate one has to be very careful because if the setting of your clutch plate is not correct you will increase the current AMPERE of the motor too much which will cause the starting winding of the Single Phase Motor to burn as well. If the setting of the clutch plate is not correct, the starting capacitor of the single face motor may also explode. Therefore, set the clutch of the single face motor properly. If you feel that the clutch plate is bad, replace it. After setting the single-face motor, you must check the CURRENT-AMPERE CURRENT AMPERE you can check with the AMPERE meter or CLUMP METER.
